COP21 IN PARIS - THE FUTURE IS NOT WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE

The plans laid down in 2014, in collaboration with the Copenhagen French Embassy changed drastically.
The plan was to produce the CO2 Green Drive in the streets of Paris, with both Electric Cars and Bikes.
However, as we all know many things changed in Paris since the fall of 2014. Instead, we went to Paris together with The Alternative and its wonderful positive crew.



Once we know that it was not possible to produce the CO2 Green Drive, we started to focus on producing a large Intentional Meditation event. However, this was not allowed either, as it became illegal to gather in large crowds in the streets of Paris. In above video, we did create a small meditation, just before the police stormed the square.

In Copenhagen, we did produce a large Intentional Meditation event in Dome of Visions on November 29th, in connection to the official COP21 Parade, held worldwide. In above image by Jesper Hyuk, Josephine Fock from The Alternative is holding a speech in connection to the meditation session.



In Paris, there was all kind of manifestations. One of my personal favorites was the above Sufi Dance meditation.



Another one, was the various Bike Parades that were ongoing in the streets of the city.



And of course the Dancing Lady, that was a lovely puppet performance by a local artist.

Now history will only know if the COP21 conference was successful. In any case, it can only be more successful than COP15 in 2009, where theonly good thing that happened, was that the CO2 Green Drive was born.

THE ALTERNATIVE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE URBAN DESIGN IN COPENHAGEN AT DOME OF VISIONS

On May 23rd there will be a Political Laboratorium/Workshop at Dome of Visions in Copenhagen.
It will be hosted by The Triangle Project & CO2 Green Drive in collaboration with the new Danish Green Party called The Alternative. There will be three sessions with talks by specialists in Urban, Vertical and alternative ways of traditional farming. This is to inform and create public involvement in changing politics around the future of our food supply and local food production. The involved speakers and facilitators are:

Institute for Global Food and Farming is a private institute doing applied research and consultancy within aquaponics, urban agriculture and the economic organization of agro food chains.

David Francois Diego Rey (French living in Copenhagen) is an architecture technologist & construction management student. He is a project coordinator in designing, planning & constructing community architectural projects with 5 years of project  management & practical construction experience with production stages companies, NGOs, and Project & Cultural Houses in Denmark. 

He has a passion for Design & Planning with Building Information Modelling (BIM), Maximum Sustainability and Facility Management.

David is driven by the desire to design, plan and construct smart homes & buildings with science and technology. David is also an educator & researcher holding talks, writing reports, video documenting and facilitating workshops in economy and sustainability practices.

Rune Wingård

Rune Wingård is one of the 10 Copenhagen candidates from the new Danish Political party The Alternative. Rune will be facilitating the Political Laboratorium, about the above subjects as part of the process of developing the political program for The Alternative.

The Alternative believes that together we can create much better political solutions than we do today. That is why they invite everyone both in Denmark and abroad to send questions, ideas and input for developing The Alternative’s political proposals.

Following the event at Dome of Visions on May 23rd 2015, the information from the day will be gathered and transferred into concrete political proposals, to potentially be implemented into the Official Political Agenda of The Alternative.

SA_EVA - SOUND ARTISTS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES ASSOCIATION

 A large selection of international artists will be the building foundation of SA_EVA (Sound Art for Electric Vehicles Association) and on April 5th 2013, they Occupied Sound for Electric Vehicles in general, forever after.

 If they had not done this, the area would have been completely taken over by the Car Industry. This is a whole new arena for the Art of Sound, and should be dedicated to creating a new outlet for Sound Art. Sound that both has a practical use in traffic, but also plays inside the Electric Vehicle for the driver. Free Artistic expression relating to the Intentional Art Concept Framework of CO2 Green Drive, will be part of the final exhibition of the project, where the Sound aspect will have an essential role.

The opening event for the launch of SA_EVA (Eva was of course also the first woman in the Bible) was held at Dome of Visions (above) as part of a CO2 Green Drive event held there. Of course a Tesla was parked outside, to give the audience an understanding what this Electric Car hype is all about...

 Runar (above) had earlier in the day told about his vision of future electric cars playing the sound of Water through speakers placed in the cars. A sound that could be downloaded from the online
 SA_EVA Sound Library.



The above video was used as a social media teaser for the various videos that was made in connection to the events at Dome of Vision with both the CO2 Green Drive Project and The Triangle Project. They were filmed by Maj Christensen and some of them was also filmed by TV Marinated TV, as the one above Maj's above video, with the "All about Water" performance and the one below with Gry.



Gry Bagøien is another SA_EVA artist who was also part of The Triangle Project in Istanbul 2007.



Above DJ Hvad is another artists in the Association.

Plans are underway to exhibit the artists of SA_EVA in St Petersburg in the spring of 2014.

BUCKY DOME OF VISIONS - THE FUTURE IS ONCE AGAIN NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE IN COPENHAGEN

On April 5th 2013, The CO2 Green Drive Project will host the event "The Future is Not What it Used to Be" in Copenhagen's Dome of Visions. It is placed on Krøyers Plads in the Christianshavn area,  just across from the noted restaurant NOMA and on the actual spot where the legendary Copenhagen Beach Club Luftkastellet was placed.

The CO2 Green Drive Project sprung out of The Triangle Project in 2008, but the artists as part of The Triangle Project have been part of the CO2 E Race/CO2 Green Drive Project all along.
One of the main collaborators have been Romeo Vidner at the Copenhagen based Design Agency re-public, as he also created the Template Portfolio of fonts, design, logos, colors and state of mind the graphic profile for CO2 E - Race/CO2 Green Drive should have. The portfolio was recently featured in the book "Green Graphics" published by INDEX BOOK.




The other Triangle artists involved, have been the large group of Sound Artists, who performed in connection to the Istanbul Art Biennial in 2007. I Am Yasuni is a global campaign to spread social awareness of Ecuador’s Yasuni-ITT Initiative in order to indefinitely preserve approximately 180,000 hectares of virgin rainforest that is comprised within the unexploited Ishpingo, Tambococha, and Tiputini (ITT) oil fields, in Yasuní National Park. In order to achieve this it aims to secure donations for the UN-administered Yasuni ITT Fund.

On April 5th 2013, the Danish organization "Jeg er Yasuni" will present thier project in collaboration with the CO2 Green Drive at Dome of Visions.

The above Dome where the event will take place, is 10,5 meters in height and has a diameter of 21 meters. The shape of the Dome is inspired by American futurist and architect Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller who, among other things, studied minimalistic constructions and patented the geodesic dome. The Dome itself acts as a façade and a shield from the elements which enables whatever construction that goes inside to use a minimal amount of materials. 

Looking North East when inside of the Dome, on the left you can see the recently buildt Theater and on the right, The Opera given to The Danish Queen by Mr. Burns. Out of the photo to the right is NOMA.

When giving talks about CO2 Green Drive, Nicola Tesla is always used a great inpiration to the project and is featured in the presentations. Not just the Tesla. In connection to the presentation on April 5th, we shall celebrate Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller, but also Nicola Tesla, of course.

Bucky had a great plan to cover New York City with a huge Dome, as seen above. Soon in connection to Earth Day New York's annual CO2 E Drive, New York will once again be tagged with a Huge "E" by Electric Cars on the CO2 Green Drive Smart Phone Application.
