THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL

The above video is from the Vilnius version of the project in 2010. The video includes many of the aspects and possibilities of the project. One exception was the the Bikini Car Wash Concept, but does include the Drag Race Concept, in the end of the video. What is also missing in the video is that there was a conference and screening of "Who Killed the Electric Car" with a following Q and A.

COPENHAGEN RUNNING ART MAN

The Copenhagen Art Run is an interactive Art, Action and Spiritual Experience in the lovely surroundings of Ishøj Beach, right next to ARKEN Moderne Museum of Art. It's not about who runs fastests or gets into goal first, but rather a way to co-create, interact and enjoy Nature, Art and Each Other. It takes place on September 12th, 2012 and is produced by VIBE. For more info about the event go HERE.

The above image with the Pink Triangle is the START of the Art Run and is placed just below the Art Museum ARKEN - that by the way is designed by Søren Robert Lund, who at the time when he won the design competition was a student.

Like Noah, he created an Ark. An Ark for Art. The above image of the brilliant design, is taken by Ronald Tilleman if you have not noticed.

Seen in the BLUE line above is the route for the runners. Based on this line, a CO2 tag will be created with the help of the CO2 Green Drive Smartphone APP. An APP that was created by our VERY jatlagged programmer Henrik The Gilvader, right upon touchdown from Burning Man and CO2 tag number 24.

The above flyer is what will be at START for the runners so they can take their Smartphones, scan the QR Code and thereby download and activate the GPS Tagging APP. Once they go on the run, the CO2 tag is produced when they move into the area that is programmed to pick up their signal. You can see the 25th CO2 Tag HERE, while it is being made and forever after. (Click on image to enlarge)

The above was the first Sketch for the CO2 tag for Copenhagen Art Run, but was too big.

Maybe it can be done like this next year? There is also many other Art Projects around on the Run. One such project is by Jakob Bue and Kasper Lynge Jensen with their project "Color Compostions with Dynamite and Weather" and one is said to expect: Dynamit, Paint, Pyramids and Runners. Mr. Lynge Jensen is also the man behind Sejerø Festival and part of The Triangle Project.

And Finally the Fine tune "Running Man" by the Danish Gentlemen from WhoMadeWho

UPDATE:

The above was the CO2 Tag that was done during Copenhagen Art Run 2012.

CO2 GREEN DRIVE AT BURNING MAN

Image above by Martin Ersted that was one of the Project Coordinators for the project at Burning Man 2012
June 15 2012 was a bearer of good news with the Burning Man Organization confirming that CO2 Green Drive was able to buy tickets to Burning Man.

This is long awaited news and we are now full steam planning the activities in detail.
The activities include an Art, Climate and Technology Theme Camp.

Here we will investigate climate related issues in a co-creative and playful process. The objective is to establish an environment where we all feel comfortable and can experience what creative and innovative ideas that can spring when you set your mind free. We plan for the camp to be open 2-3 hours every day.

The plans will be developed together with the final group of participants and what their specialities are.

On Friday 31 August we will perform the CO2 "painting" performance using renewable energy powered transportation means. Our vision is a big parade of bikers, pedestrians, stilt walkers, bunnies and electric Art Cars led by a brass band. All completing a GPS tracked CO2 painting on the open playa.
We also see Dancing. Definitely Dancing...Electric!

If you would like to learn more do get in touch and we will be happy to forward you
our presentation of the plans.

THE BURNING MAN EXPERIENCE - 2012

The plans are taking shape fast for the idea of bringing the CO2 performance to Burning Man in the end of August 2012. The above CO2 tag is the second sketch for the route of the performance. It is not confirmed as of yet, but we are working on it!

The above video is with David Koren who brought elements of Burning Man out to the world in the shape of a wonderful project on Governors Island in New York called Figment.
The CO2 E - Race Project is a natural progression of The Triangle Project, which collaborated with Figment in 2008 on Governors Island, as part of the exhibition Emergence.

WE WILL DO VILNIUS

The Project will happen in Vilnius on the 23rd of October 2010 in collaboration with Nordic Council of Ministers and the local Creative Collective OVAL.

The above is the first sketch of the Vilnius tag done in connection with the "Sea of Creativity" conference in Vilnius in the spring of 2010 where the project was first presented.

The above is the main square in Vilnius that we hope we can use.

Allan van O.T. Andersen
--who you can see in the above images from the Riga version
where Allan was in the car with the Danish Director Simon Drewsen Holmberg of
the Danish Cultural Institute in Riga--is the Creative Director of OVAL and also happens to be Danish.

The above is the other main square by the City Town Hall, where our friends  from OVAL produced a 3D projection short film called "When Fairy Tales come True".

THE 13TH OF DECEMBER 2009 VERSION OF THE CO2 PERFORMANCE IN COPENHAGEN

Two Tesla's, a Mini Hummer and a Biofuel run Novozymes Volvo lining up in front of Forum before the start of the CO2 Painting Performance. Each electric car was handed a TracTrac GPS modul on a silver platter by Mr Green, to use as paint when driving the CO2 route.

Danish Man of Adventure, Hjalte Tin talks about his CO2 friendly vehicle that he will drive around the world in.

The Hopenhagen Globe with the CO2 Tag being drawn on by the almost 100 CO2 friendly cars and their GPS, projected by five projectors. The GPS moduls from TracTrac sent live information to the projector that screened the actual cars realtime as they moved through the streets in one long parade.
